Comparison Of CC2420 CC1000 and CC1021 Communication Ranges

Different radio hardware is likely to also show a different communication characteristic, in particular the communication range might vary. The following link-quality measurement show the reception quality between 6 nodes placed randomly in an indoor office-like environment. The six node were placed at the same positions for the different tests/platforms (Tmote/CC2420, Btnode/CC1000, A80/CC1021).
